1: If you have more than one clan of mercs the chance one will leave goes up. 2: Mercs are more likely to leave if you have no active wars 3. Keeping the Merc clan leader in your army will not stop them leaving. I've tried to spend influence to promote the Merc clans but it doesn't seem to help. Good relationship doesn't seem to help either. I want to take screenshots : r/mountandblade. r/mountandblade. • 4 yr. ago. WastedWaffles. Any way to turn off icons on top of soldiers? Also, are there any mods which enables you to pause during wars? and maybe free camera mod so I can take pictures
There is no penalty hit when you do so. The contract never expires or needs to be renewed. At the initial talk when you ask to be a mercenary you are told how much pay you will get. When you battle the realms enemies you gain influence, the influence is then converted to denars at regular intervals.
The subreddit for all things dedicated to Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord. Members Online The Bannerlord Paradox: Why is it that modders can implement so many QoL features as well as great additions and balancing changes to the game, but devs can't?
It is either a bug, or a feature (I'm not sure on either) where OFTEN, the faction leader, or their number 2 in charge (Monchug, mesui example..) can't be Immediately ransomed. You can just go to tavern and ransom everyone. But can't do it individually. They also have no ARROW, to assign them to YOUR dungeon (or push to the sell side in tavern).
Is it possible to leave a faction without the penalty of -20 relation from all clans? Question Ive been both a merc and a vassal, but if i try to leave the kingdom by speaking to the king, i get -20 relation with every clan in the faction. if you renounce your oath respectably, you are given a -20 relationship penalty to all clans in the kingdom, which is even more than you lose from landowners for lighting their homes on fire. This seems excessive, and in my situation I was a mercenary and even if I spent several months with the faction it should have been understood that by not becoming a vassal all that time I was not looking

How do i end my mercenary contract. My faction is losing and I want to save my ass and leave the faction. Showing 1 - 1 of 1 comments Lenny Apr 12, 2020 @ 3:04pm just go into the kingdom tab and click leave kingdom, you won't lose any rep. But, if you go talk to the ruler and ask to leave you'll still lose the rep, guessing it's a bug #1

First, you will need to travel into the town where the tournament is taking place. As aforementioned, look for the Yellow helmet symbol. Now that you’re in a town where a tournament is currently taking place, follow these steps: Select the option: Go to the Arena. Select the option Join the Tournament.

As far as i can tell, The game thinks merc contracts are the same as joining that faction as a lord. A bug i seriously hope gets fixed soon as it really ruins allot of the game play, having people hate you just because you left them when they ran out of wars to fight.
The best way to fix this if you have your own kingdom is to: 1 - leave any army you are in. 2 - press k and abdicate leadership. 3 - leave kingdom and keep your holdings. 4 - Be an independent clan should be completed. 5 - Open your console commands by pressing Alt + ~. 6 - type config.enable_cheat 1. Build caravans 6. join army/siege (winnable ones) and loot valuable items 7. chop off noble’s head for loot (with the mod) That’s about it. Smithing lets you turn junk weapons into 50k+ twohanders, so that's a nice way to get both a lot of money and amazing weapons.
#mountandblade2 #bannerlord #gamemechanicsI break down the Mercenary Contract Offer but at a high level so everyone can understand it. No math or formulas h
It isn’t a bug, more of a missing feature. I believe that it’s critical for players who intend to startup their own kingdom one day to be able to leave a mercenary contract through expiration, and I would hope that TW is planning on adding it but for the time being the only solid way to make money is raid hideouts and get workshops.
As promised last week in our post highlighting the feudal japanese samurai and ashigaru units, here are the cool looking shots for cavalry unit armor (made by 3D team lead Dawa) that you can use in the Shokuho mod for Bannerlord. We hope to post to showcase more stuff the team has made soon!
It depends on some factors like if the king of that faction is rich so he can afford to pay you a lot, or if that faction is at war with strong enemies. Today's patch, which is the beta version, makes it so that the merc payment is updated every 30 days. Before the amount you are assigned at the start was permanent unless you leave the kingdom.
Contract runs until you end it. If peace breaks out, you can bust bandits and looters and get paid for it until war starts again. If you have workshops in a faction and you are a mercenary for another faction, you will lose that workshop if your faction ends up in a war with the faction in which your workshop is located. Mercenary contracts should probably: Expire after a set period of time, allowing you to renew or leave without suffering relationship penalties. Not penalize you for breaking the contract early as though you swore and then broke vassalage.

afaik, the kingdom goes up to a vote among it's own lords, not following any sort of inheritance law. Its how I've unwittingly become king of Vlandia several times now. Probably super easy to do though to get people's votes. Donate prisoner troops and lords in other people's castles and you get their likes and favors. dVjzwod.
